(Australian and N.Z. Cable Assn.) Received August 27, s.r> p.m. AMSTERDAM, August 26. Mr Gerard, the American Ambassador in Berlin, SQnt a congratulatory telegram to the owners of the Deutscliland. The Munehener Zeitung interviewed Mr Gerard, who praised the Deutschland's achievement. He pointed out that_there was great sympathy with the Deutschland in the United States.
