Sir Douglas Haig reports that our right lias joined up with tin* French alter heavy fighting on the eastern and northern edges of Delville Wood. We have now advanced several hundred yards 011 each side of the LonguevalFlers Road, taking IS7 prisoners before eight o'clock this morning. The length of the enemy's trench captured south of Thiepval yesterday extended across the Leipsic salient for 700 yards.
