Mr Dugald McKellar, formerly Collector of Customs at Wellington, died on Friday. The death is announced from Wellington of Mr Martin Kennedy, a director of the Bank of New Zealand. The congregation of the Mosgiel Presbyterian Church has addressed a call to the Rev. 1). Calder, of St. Andrew's, Wanganui. Captain Paynes, who recently returned from Egypt on duty, and has been spending a tew days in Waikato, left by to-day's express for Wellington to report. Captain O. F. Johnson, who is reported as having been killed in action, was second in command of the Waikato Mounted Itiflqs, having been appointed to that position in January last. He saw service on Gallipoli, where he was wounded. He was invalided to England, but subsequently rejoined his regiment. He was a son of Mr J. Johnson, of Kauri, Whangarei.
