No iveanei s yarded. Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having held tin ir usual fat stock sale at Westfield on Wednesday. Beef: A moderate yarding, and prices were on a par with late rates. Extra choice pens of | rime ox sold at equal to -13s per 10 ill>, i rdinnrv quality ex beef equal to .'l7s to -10s, cow and heifer beef 35s to 38 s. Veal: A small yarding. Prices were firm at late rates. Heavy runners made to £fi 15s, ordinary runners £2 15s to £3 15s, suckers 32s to 48s, others 3s to 21s. Mutton: A moderate yarding; prices were about Is to 2s per head higher than last week. Extra heavy wethers made up to 28s, mediumwe ght wethers 21s fid to 27s 6d, light and unfinished wethers 22s fid to 23s 6d; heavy ewes to 27s 3d, medium and light weight 22s fid to 21s fid, unfinished 16s fid to 21s. Tianib: A small yarding. Heavy woolly made up to 21s, good lambs lfis to 19s, inferior lis to 15s. ♦ Pork; A moderate yarding. Prices were in vendor's favour, and were 3s to fis higher per head than late rates. Good baconers made up to £3 Bs, choppers 33s to 495. NGARUAWAHIA SHEEP FAIR. Messrs Dalgety and Co. report:— Wo held our first sheep fair of the season in the Ngaruawahia yards yesterday, when we had a very successful sale. Competition was keen throughout, and practically every line changed hands under the hammer.
