ANCIENT ORDER OF FORESTERS.
HAMILTON BRANCH.
The half-yearly meeting of the Ancient Order of Foresters was held on Tuesday in the Methodist Hall, London 12? street. The secretary (Bro. H. A. Corner) reported the loss of three of the brothers killed in the Dardanelles, and a vote of sympathy was passed to the relatives of the late brothers. The following were installed as officers for the coming term: P.C.R., Bro. Gower; C.R., Bro. W. Ansley; S.C.R., Bro. P. Owens; S.W., Bro. Carter; T.W.. Bro. Baker; 5.8., Bro. Poole; 1.8., Bro. Hamilton; secretary, P.C.R. Bro. H. A. Corner; treasurer, Bro. T. Robinson. It was decided to hold a social anoV dance at an early date in aid of a brother in great distress through illness. P.C.R. Bro. Corner was presented with a collar and certificate for past services. The secretary reported that the Court had made rapid strides in membership during the past term. The C.R., Bro. Onsby, thanked the members for his election to the office of head of the Order in the Waikato, and congratulated the other members who secured offices.
