Horvoy produced a diary purporting to contain proof* di his misconduct with Mrs Norton mi two occasions. He stated that lie could quango further misconduct to i*iinfil«' Norton to catch them flagrantedelicto within a week. He asked for LIOO down and fIOO when the business w as completed. .Mrs Norton denied misconduct, adding that Harvey was her principal witness in Inr divorce Miit against her husband, and for that reason Norton wanted to got accused out of the way. Harvey who ph-aded not guilty and reserved his deleiire, was committed for trial.
While Norton was signing the deposition Mrs Norton shouted, "You are an assassin and ought to l>e thrashed. You are assassinating the good name of your wile and children."
