WORLD'S CHAMPIONSHIP. Accident to paddon. LONDON. June 2li. The Australian champion, ./nines Paddon, who is to row Harry for the world's champions-hip; spiairied his wrist early in tho week, and has not rowed for a week. Consequently he has increased in weight. Ho hopes to resume training on Monday.
Harry has consented te the postponement of the race to September 6, the, start to be at 2.40 p.m. The articles have accordingly been signed, and a further £IOO a side deposited. Barry hopes that the public v. ill subscribe towards Paddon's expenses. Otherwise he will allow Paddon two-thirds of the steamboat receipts.
