THE KING'S. HOW TO DANCE THE TANGO. Quite the most novel production ii picture films was that shown at tin King's for the first time on Saturday evening under the title of "How t< Dance the Tango," the dance ovei which America and Europe are said t< have gone crazy. Its fame has peneto New Zealand, and consequently there was a large attendance to pass judgment at the initial screen ing. According to the description supplied as it is unwound from the reel, the picture is designed to teach thr audience some of the intricacies of the dance, but the movements were too numerous and complicated to make that j end possible. Two of the reputedly best exponents of-the dance were engaged to exploit it, their names being Wallace McOutcheon and Miss Joan Sawyer. The film was divided into three sections, iUustrating respectively the Viennese hesitation waltz, the Tango, and the Turkey Trot, showing McCutcheon ongaged in teaching the steps of the firstnamed dance. A display hy the professionals was followed by a scene from a Carabet dance floor, illustrating how the three mentioned dances are usually performed. Whatever may lie their attractions to. those who are able to perform them with skill, it can only bo said that many of the steps are neither graceful nor elegant.
