YOUTHFUL BURGLARS.

A case presenting sensational features came hel'ore the Court yesferday, when Leslie Lionel (.'rant la youthful Postal employee), («eorge Augustus Smith (a recent arrival Iron) England with his invalid father), E. Spencer, and A. Millings ( 51 travelling showman) were dialled with breaking and entering premises liy night. The house l hurgled was that of tlie officer in charge of ilie Postal Savings Hank Department, who possessed the kev of the strong room, which contained a larg<» sum ol money. Equipped with electric torches, the four visited the official's residence at midnight, and entered the room hy a window. They secured 30s, hut were (oiled in an endeavor to secure the keys. The surprising development. ol the case was that the youthful participants had planned the hurglary, and had induced the elder men to join them, while the former pair hurgled several other premises and stole money and valuables. The accused pleaded guilty, and were committed to the Supreme Court for sentence.
