Messrs Fow and Co. have some very special for their sale to-morrow, including purebred poultry, and also a first-class line of flowering and shelter shrubs and hedge plants. A special entry of tobacco to be sold under the hammer is of interest to both smokers and shopkeepers. It will be sold without reserve. Messrs George Bond and Co. are holding their usual weekly sale to-morrow at 1.30, and are offering a big line of furniture and household effects on behalf of Mrs Roberts, who is giving up housekeeping. The line consists of some very useful articles, including three b.r. bedsteads, one very • heavy brass rails, w.w. mattresses, a sevenpiece suite, dresser, "and usual household sundries. In addition to the above the usual lines of fruit, poultry, and vegetables will be offered. Messrs Dalgety and Co. draw the attention of farmers to their Te Aframutu stock sale to be held to-morrow, the 16th inst., when they will offer upwards of 400 head of mixed cattle.
