VYhawharua. —Application from Mr H. J. Thomas for a school referred to inspector. Horotiu.—Resolved to abandon proposal to acquire or lease portion of hos-' pita! reserve for schooli site purposes. Messrs Auld and Edgecumbe to report regarding selection of site. Kakahi.—Application for a residence to be renewed to Minister. Kauroa.—For increased rent for school, referred to inspector. Mangaiti.—Authorised acquisition of additional acre of land at school. Mangapehi.—Application to he made for grant for enlargement of school. Question of grading floor of class-room referred to architect. Ngaruawahia.—Question ol providing new r< sidence referred to committee. Oturoa. For a residence, declined at present.
