Tiis New Zealand L-oan and Mercantile Agency Company, Ltd., have received the following cablegram from tfoeir London house under date 20 th inst :

Wheat : Sold a New Zealand parcel at 32s 9d c.i.f. The market is dull, there is very little demand, and the outlook is uncertain. We quote per •uiarter, c.i.f. : New Zealand wheat, long-berried, 33s ; short-berried, 32s fid.

Tallow : We iqsiote present spot values for the following descriptions: —Good mutton, 38s Gd Per cwt. • good beef 35s 3d per cwt ; mixed 33s per cwt. The market is inactive.
