BLENHEIM, Saturday. Nil trace has yet been found of Mrs Eyes who has been missing from Rai Falls since Monday. It is feared that the body has been carried out to sea, as dragging operations in the Pelorus river have been carried out without avail. THE SHERA SUICIDE. NAPIER, Saturday. Evidence at the inquest on Mr J. D. Sbsra, who was found dead in the New Zealand Insurance Co.'s office on Thursday momdntgi, showed that deceased was subject to recurring fits of depression as the result of malaria contracted during the South African war. The police fount! a number of telegrams amongst deceased's effects referring to racine;, and his cheque books showed transactions with different bookmakers. The Coroner returned a verdict of death from a gunshot wound, selfinflicted, evidence as to his state of mind being inconclusive.
