At Westfield on September 20th, 327 fat cattle were penned, and excellent quality. The demand continues strong- Choioe ox beef £1 14s (id per lOOibs, ordinary £1 10 6d to £l 13s, cow heifer £1 5s to £1 10b, steers £? 12s 6d to £l7 12s fid, cows and heifers £5 12.3 to £l2 ss. Fat younc; oalv-os sold freely. Choice suckers £2 5s to £2 16s, lighter £1 10s to £2 2s, runners. £3 5s to' £4 lOss, small 3s to £1 5s ; 93 sold. Average empty fat sheep met brisk competition.
