(Received Setp. 21, 12.5 a.m.) LONDON, Sept. 20. The King has telegraphed his condolences to the Czar on the death of M. Stolypin. The Continental Press eulogises M. Stolypin's patriotism and devotion.

(Received Setp. 21, 12.5 a.m.) ST. PETERSBURG, Sept. 20. The death of M, Stolypin has caused consternation in the country. The theatres are closed and the churches are celebrating requiems. The remains will be interred at Kieff on Friday. M. Cokovstoff is likely to succeed M. Stolypin. Baigroff, the assassin, received ths revolver used from the chief of the Kieff police. The latter lias been dismissed. Bogroff is ill, suffering from the rough treatment received from the theatre goers. Shortly before his death M. Stolypin requested the room to be brilliantly lighted and with his last remaining strength raised himself up on his bod and smiled to those around The Czar attended mass for the repose of the soul and comforted the widow anc'i family.
