(Received Sept. 19, 10.10 p.m.) LONDON, Sept. 19. One thousand holder-men struck at Clyde. defying the executives and idling 1000 rivetters. Practically all grades on the Great Southern and Western lines in Ireland have struck. The goods traffic is chaotic. The trouble is not acute , on the Great Northern and Midland lines. Various regiments have been ordered to Dublin. The shore staff of the London and North Western Company, engaged c*a the Dublin quays have struck and enormous quantities »f perishable goods are imperilled. A meeting of non-unionist railwaymen on Wednesday resolved to form a society of free workers. The speakers protested against the tyranny of the trade unions.

The Executive of the Amalgamated Society of Railwaymen have arrived in Dublin, and are considering the position. A mass meeting of railwaymen at Dublin resolved not to further submit to the degrading conditions, and demanded that the Amalgamated Executive call out the British fellowworkers. Mr Rimmer, strike leader, states that the dispute is strictly confined tu the question of handling the goods of firms employing non-Unionists.
