Skating.
* ! Devotees of the art of rinking will be pleased to hear that another of those delightful carnivals is to be held at the Hamilton skating rink on Wednesday next, September 20th. The carnival which is in aid of the Hamilton Town Band, will be of the fancy dress and poster order, and valuable trophies will 'be presented to the winners of the various events. The prizes are now on view at Clothier's music warehouse. The attendance should he large, as already numerous persons have signified their intention of entering for the various competitions. Skating will continue as usual after Wednesday, with three sessions a day.
