CAPE FORAGE.
AUSTRALIAN RESTRICTIONS. RETALIATION CERTAIN. (Received 5, 930 p.m.) Capetown, Angust 5. Mr Viljoem's resolution, expressed the opinion that the reasons given for the Australian restrictions on the importation of Cape forage were unsatisfactory, and if restrictions were necessary in Australia, similar reasous might exist restricting the entry of Australian produce to the Cape. This was agreed without dissent, and an additional clause advocating the discontinuance of the preferential arrangement between South Afiica and Australia was withdrawn,
