THE RUSSIAN SITUATION.
♦ A DAY'S RECORD
THE NIEBOGATOFF AFFAIR
ST PETERSBURG, Dec. 26
Tliirteeii executions were recently reported al Riga, and seven at Mitan,
in one day. The aci|iiittal of the majority of Niebagatoff's officers, after enduring ignominy and privation, is considered in St Petersburg to be tardy justice. It now seems that the earliest account stating that the petty officers and the crew mutinied, compelling the surrender of the fleet, has been disproved. A I'.OMl! EXPLOSION. ST. PETERSBURG. Dec. 27. A traveller, when quitting a train at Rhankoff station, dropped a bomb. The explosion killed two passengers and injured several.
