END OF ADELAIDE STRIKE.
ADELAIDE, This day. The wharf labourers' strike lias been settled, and is practically a victory for the men. The new agreement, with a currency of twelve mouths, which has been signed, upholds the principle of an eight-hours' day, and maintains the system of unbroken quarters. The day shifts will be allowed two smoking intervals of ten minutes each, instead of two of twenty minutes, as previously. The night shifts, two of twenty minutes each, and the other conditions remain unaltered. Work has now been resumed.
