The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., h&vo received the following cableadvic 3 from their London offi:e: Wool : The market closed strong far all sorts of wool. As ejmpwed with last sales dosing rates prices are about 5 per oent. to 7i per oent. higher for scoured merino, and about 10 per cent, to 15 per cent, higher for cross-bred slipe. BUTTER AND EGG*. The Auckand Pairy Produce Committee fixed the fallowing whole-sale quotations for bu' trr and for the week endiug December 15th: Factory butter, Is per lb; farmers' butter best, 8d lb; eggs, 8d per doz n.
