♦ THE ASIATIC QUESTION. LONDON, November 29. The Executive Council of the Nationalist Party at Pretoria protests against the alleged provision of the constitution vesting the control of natives and Asiatics in the Imperial Government, and excluding Swaziland from the control of the Transvaal. Mr Churchill states tLat the Im- < penal Government intends to continue State aid in repatriating • Chinese at their own request. Arrangements to terminate the system expeditiously must be considered as a whole when the colony was endowed with responsible Government, and no ' single part could be determined separately.
