Our contributor lias certainly not adluiuisiered indiscriminate llatlery. but it lie has found fault in some [larliculars, hi.-- intention lias evidently been to point nut possibilities of improvement. lie tells our readers that two of our great productive industries—Haxmilliug and sheep and cattle raising for freezing—are very inadequately represented. Doubtless the live trophies which display the growth and magnitude of the output of timber and butter, make the lack in these other directions more noticeable, but we hope that even yet these omissions will In; rectified. A pyramid of tlax, both in bales and hanks, of the best quality produced in the district, would form a striking, and we should think, a pleasing exhibit, especially if it were accompanied by the certilicates of the grader, and by some well displayed statistical information. As regards the frozen meat trade, could not the Farmers' Freezing Company contribute anything mole thau a couple of photographs'r We gather from our CJiristchurch contemporaries that other works, including Wanganui. have erected magnificent piles of tinned and potted meats', manures, neatsfoot oil. and sheepskin mats. Even if nothing of this sort can be done in the Waikato Court, ihe numerous and excellent photographs of live stock might surely lie grouped together and accompanied by a suitable inscription.
