EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE. The Executive (J mraittee of the Waikato A. aad P. Association transacted the following business after we went to press yesterday i iVIiLK Jests —.Mr I. Coatea brought up the rrue-ition of the milk tests in -eonnection with the dairy competition at the show. He said that at an informal meet* ing of the committee held on the showground -, letters from the experts entrusted with the testing had made Berious allegations—allegations, which, if proved, should send him to gaol. A stigma had been cast upjn him, and he demanded the strictest inquiries.—Members: Nonsense, Mr Coatea, no one accuses you ef underhand work—Mr Coates: The accusation has been male and I demand that tbe matter be ventilated in the Press. The letters -hould be read at this meeting—Some discussion arose on the question as to whether the letters should be read then or neld over until the receipt of the analysis of the samples which have been forwarded to Wellington. Eventually, on Mr Bell's motion, eeconded by Mr Farrer, it was decided to defer the reading and consideration of the matter until reoeipt tit the analyist's n port.

Piuze Money.—The payment of prize money was authorised. Gatk and fcTAN'u Receipts.—Mr I. Cjates, gate steward, reported that on the tirst day the gates and stand realised £9 9b ; on the second day the gates were £2:4 19s and the stands ,619 7s 6d. The oost of collection was: gates £7 ss, grandstand £i 10s, total £9 Ids, leaving net receipts £234 0s 61. Last year £6 18s was collected on the first day, £192 16s 3d for gnte3 and j620 6i 31 for stands on the second day, oost of collection being £9 Is, leaving net receipts £3lO 18s 6d. Finance. —The president reported that £I7JU had been paid to the trustees for distribution to debjnture holders, thus secuiing the ground free to the Association. There was a bank overdraft of £1435, secured by a mortgage on the buslj and small section on the river side of the grounds. Prize mouey and debts to the amount of .£5lO had to be paid, which would bring the overdraft to £1975. The ground was certainly worth £SOOO, leaving a balance to credit of £3OOO. The concert run by the Association had resulted in a loss of £22, which was to be regretted, as the talent was certainly better than the average seen here.—Mr Bell considered more extensive advertising and "booming" have reversed the position of affairs. Yaium.—The erection of new yards was held ovit for a lime.

Dairy School—Messrs Coates, and 801 l were dtputed to act as the Association's representatives on a joint deputation with the Hamilton Chamber of Commerce, to interview tha Minister of Lands on his visit to Waikato, in urging the claims of the Ruakura State farm as the site of the proposed school of dairy instruction.
