Mr George Drury, RegistrarGenoral, is about to retire from the service vith which ha has been connected for about 27 years.
Mr W. G. Meddings, inspector of telegraphs, Aujkland, is to take up the duties ot Mr J. K. Log-in, superintendent of electric liies, during his absence in Europe.
Mr W. M. Singleton, one of the prinoipal dairy experts, who ia to have charge of the sch'.ol of dairy instruction, will shortly letve for America and ('in da, and possibly Denmark, to secure ilia litest information in connection with the industry, for the benefit of dairy farmers.
At the Liit meeting of the Board of Education, the resignation of Mrs Phillips of the Kiuaeranjja Fehoil, wis received after twenty-eight years' servicv Mis Phillips has been a faithful, capable, and conscientious servant of the Bard of Edu atioD, and her influence and teachings have had a beneficial effect on many scholars.
