A SUFFRAGETTE FINED
DEFYING THE LAW
LONDON, November 20
Miss Milne, a suffragette, was fined ten shillings, with the alternative of a week's imprisonment. She elected to go to prison. When informed that the meeting was contrary to law. she told the police she acknowledged no law.
