THE RUSSIAN SITUATION.
ATTEMPTED PRISON BREAKING. THE DESIGN FRUSTRATED. ST. PETERSBURG, Nov. 17. Three hundred and seventy political prisoners at Odessa prison planned to escape and due; a mine under the wall of the prison, but a criminal informed the authorities that the political prisoners had revolted. The informant was killed by mutinous prisoners. Troops then surrounded the prison.
