Jackman, tailor, of Hamilton, was admitted to the W'aikato Hospital last night Buffering from ooncussion of the brain as the result of falling off a horse on the road between Whatawhata and Hamilton. Enquiries this morning elicited the fact that he was progressing favourably. At the Hamilton Police Court this morning, before Mr K. J. Paull, J.P. the following by-law cases were disposed of: Frederick O'Hara, Edward H ill, J. Taylor, and F. H. Tuck were fined 5s and costs for riding bicycles without lights; Haruld Peace, for riding a horse on a footpath, 5s and costs; and George Wishart, who did not appear, for driving without lights, was fined 10s and costs.
