A TRAMWAY ACCIDENT.
AN AUCKLAND LADY KILLED. I (By Telegraph.—Press Association) j AUCKLAND, this day. A tramway accident with a fatal termination occurred in Symondsstreet on Sunday. Mrs Alice Taylor, wife of Mr W. Taylor, manager of j Prosser and Co, is al- j leged to have jumped from a moving 1 tramcar, sustaining fata' iniuries. She i was picked up unconscious. A doctor was quickly in attendance, and found j that her skull was fractured. Con- I cussion of the brain followed. De- S ceased was removed to a private j hospital but only iingered a short i ijime and expired without having j regained consciousness.
