Messrs J. L>. MacEwan and Co have received the following report on the London produce market from Messrs A. Clement and Sous, dated October 21st : Butt eii French: Supplies are very short and eveu at the high prices now ruling shippers are losing money. Rolls, 12s (3d, 13s Gi, 14s G 1 to 15s Gd ; extra mild, 122s to 124s : finest, litis to 120s; Paris, 122s to 12Gs; good to flue, 112s. Danish : Total shipments to Great Biitaiu for week euding 15 : li inst. amount to 27,862 casks, 2,383 boxes. For the corresponding week last year there were 26,388 casks. The official quotation was advanced 2kr. this wet k and we report a quiet trade, the high prices checking demand somewhat ; finest, 1255, 126s up to 1275. Kussian : There were 13,087 casks arriving into Loudon this week against 7,'Ji 0 for the corresponding week last year. Demand is mostly on choicest goods, secondary quality not being good enough to retail at a shilling. Fiuest, IUGs to 108s; good to tine, 98s to 104 ; inferior, 90s to 945. Australian and New Zealand ; Arrivals from Australia this week aggregate 3,500 boxes, viz., " Marmora " 2,453 boxes, "Nineveh" 1,047, New Zealand, this compares with 4,784 boxes from Australia for the corresponding week last year, also 2,763, from New Zealand. There is an exceptionally good demand for all grades, but more especially for strictly finest. Official quotations as follows : New Zealand finest, 116s, 118s, Australian (Victorian) finest 115s to 119s; U.S. 116s and 120s : good to fine, 104s to 112s; New South Wales; finest 114s to 116s; U.S.: 115s to 118s; good to fine, 104s up to 182; Queensland, finest, 110s up to 114s; U.S. 112s to 114s; good to fine, 102s to 108s. Canadian arrivals this week are small 4,349 packages against 12,469 for the same period last year. While the cable quotations from Canada still come at 118sc.i.f; spot prices are not over 116s; salted, 118s; unsalted landed terms, fine salted, 110s to 114s; nnsalted, 114s; 114s to 116s; cfficial quotations as follows: Fiuest, 114s to 116s; U.S. 114s to 116s; Occ. Is more; good to fine, 104s to 110s; dairies, 90s to 945. Dutch; Arrivals, 1251 packages in which are included 274 casks, for the corresponding week last year there were 1599 packages arrived. In consequence of the Jewish holiday this week trade has been quiet in this article at official prices as follows: Creamery, 114s to 116s. Irish: Trade very slow at the high prices ruling, viz: Creamery ll4s to 117s; factory, 102s, 106s, up to 110s. American : There was only one arrival into London this week, viz., the " Auglian " with 250 packages. For the corresponding week last year there were 3,826. Liverpool entered this week 8,711 packages. Market quiet, values unchanged. Finest creamery, 98s to 102s; good to fine, 92s to 965; inferior, 88s to 90s.
