A WALTON WEDDING.

A very pretty wedding was celebrated at the resideuce of Mr Kuhtz, Walton, on Wednesday last, when his youngest daughter, Miss Elizabeth liertha Kuht/, was married to Mr Albert Belcher, of Raglan. The Itev. J. Might, of'l e Arohu, was the officiating minister. The bride wore a lovely d.irk blue cloth dress with wlntu sill; front and trimmed wilh gold buttons and braid, and carried a shower b n-l ut:t of iuhklhii hair forn and white loses. There wi re four bridesmaids. Miss Sceliy, chief bridesmaid, was dressed in white muslin, triaiuied with in-ertion and lace edging; Miss Johnston in a pale green voi e, trimmed with white Bilk and lace, and wore gold brooches, the gifts of the bridegroom ; and the little nitces of the bride, Miss Hilda Park and Mi»B Mabel Finnerty, were both dreised in white with silk sashes. Mr tjuttie acted as best man. l'be bride was given away by her father. The wed.iing breakfast was something to remember tor a long time, not merely f>. r its quality, wh ch could scarcely be improved on, but because it wss the re-uni: n of so many old fiiends. A large party assembled in the evening, when with dancing, music, singing and recitations, a very eujoyable time was spent. Mr and Mrs Kuhtz gave their character Bong, " Ha, Ha," which was loudly encored. Mr J. C;rrol carried out his duties as M.C. in his usual finished style, and his brother, Mr Mat Carrol supplied excellent music. After choir practice on Sunday evening, the choir presented Miss Kuhtz with a handsome set of carvers, she having been connected with the choir since it whs started. The wedding presents were numerous and and useful as well as ornamental.
