TO THE EDITOR. Sir, —At the Cambridge meeting Mr Allen Hell said "It was a short-sighted view to take of the ease to oondetnn the proposals because no provision was made for a rebiate to the buyer as well as the seller. It was impossible to provide for thin." Why should not a cash buyer get a discount in this as in any other business T presume the non-cash buyers have to pny for their accommodation and at a rate that will pay the Company. Surely the cash buyer is entitled to a privilege »s he ic helping both Company and seller when paying oash. The late Mr McNicjl, of McNiool and Co. worked on these lines,—l am, etc., NOT SHORT SIGHTED
