AN IRISH ELECTION.
FACTION FIGHTING. LONDON, November o. 'Much desperate faction fighting occurred at Galway. The police charged repeatedly, using their batons. Numerous arrests were made, and both candidates demanded legislative independence. The bishops and priests supported Mr Gwynn.
