OUAUPO STOCK SALE. Messrs McNic'ol and Co. report as follows At Ohaupo on Tuesday last we held our annual bull sale and offered 197 bulls which, with the exception of 0 Hereford bulls, were all Snorthorn, pure bred or grade and were brought forward by breeders in really good oondition. The price of store cattle does not warrant high pricss for bulla and none were recorded at this sale. There waß a large attendance of dairymen and farmers requiring serviceable young bulls and nith the exception of a -few pedigree bulls from Greenhill and RoCorangi herds practically all were sold. Two • yearold bulls made from £8 8s to £ls 15s; pedigree yearlong bulls, up to £ls 15s; well-grown and wel.-fed yearling bulls, £8 8s to £l4 14« j those not quite so forward, £5 5s to £7 7s 1 and a few not old enough for service, £1 2s to £4 4s ; pedigree old Duke of Manchester bull made £lB 18s j and a few aged bulls, 30s to £5. Immediately after the bull sale we offered 1150 head of well bred cattle, a large proportion being 2J to 4-year-ald steers and for which there was good competition and prices improved on those ruling at last few markete. For steers under iwo-jear-old however, prices were no better, forward conditioned 4-year-old-stoers, made from £0 13s t> £6 7s j fresh 3-year-old 6teers, £t 15a to £0 10s; etore 3-year-olds, £4 10s to £5 3s 1 two and half-year-old £3 15s to £4 5s ; lb-months and 2-year-old steers from £'i os to £2 las j seven pens not too well bied, 30s to 40s ; extra choice yearling steers made up to £2 ss; fair yearlings, 30s to 35b; small yearlings or calves, 20s to 255; choice 2-year-old ompty heifers up to £3 7s; fresh conditioned cows, £2 Ids to £3 10s.

The attendance at the Durham Yards on Friday wjs good aud bidding brisk. AtTuikau on Wednesday we had a larger muster than for many months, and satisfactory prices rulsd. On Saturday we held a clearing sale of live and dead stock on account of Mr D. 11. Mudill, of Tuakau. There was a very large attendance and satisfactory prices ruled.
