One of the most attractive features of an agricultural show is the display of farm implements, for there the farmer .sees all the latest improvements ami is enabled to ch iosh the m >«t up-to-date for his work. Tiiis year's Waikato show promises to be ahead of previous y ars in tlii? respect, at any rate so fir an number is conc-raod, for enquiries for additional space continue to come in steadily. Old exhibitors Btate that they intend to show much more largely than before; while new men are also taking space. Side shows, so dear to jthe juvet ile heart, will be in abundance and more varied amusement it would be hard to find outside the exhibition. As regards stock entripp, there are so many that the erection of an additional 25 pens became necessary, and workmen are now busily engaged on the work. Ample provision has been made for receiving st- ck and the fact that Mr W. MuNicol is chief steward in this depa r tmeot ia a sufficient guarantee that stock will be well-cared for and carefully jpaddocked. As an ample supply of green feed has been arranged for, exhibitors need have no anxiety or care on this head.
