MORBINSVILLE STOJK SALE. Messrs McNiool and Co. report:—At Morrinsville yesterday we yarded about 400 bead of cattle, comprising 40 beef, 260 stores and about 100 springers. Fat cows and heifers, £5 to £5 15s; 18 months and 2-year steers, £2 15s to £3 6s; 2£-year steers, £4 10 ; good yearl ngs, £2 ■. calves, 23s to 265; choice beifera at profit, £5 7a 6d £7 7s 6d ; others, £3 10s to £5 2e 6d. 400 weathers penned failed to reach owners reserve. Messrs MeNiol and Co. report: At Hamilton on Thursday we again had a full yarding of stock, comprising 160 beef, 75 springers, 400 stores, 550 sheep and 166 pigs. Messrs McNicol and Co., report:—We held our annual spring cattle sale last Wednesday in the Cambridga yards, when we yarded 1000 bead of cattle. Cowtails, Is 8d per dozen. LONDON WOOL SALES. LONDOV, September 27. At the opening wool sales yesterday 13,169 bales, including 8000 balea of New Ze-iland, were submitted. There was a large attendance and good competition for combing sorts, but New Zealand slipes were very weak. Merinos remained un changed from the closing pricßS of the July sales. Fine crossbreda were very firm, with an American demand. Coarse orossbreds were from par to a halfpenny lower. Combings and slipes were a halfpenny and clothing slipes a penny to ltd lower.
