TRAIN SUBMERGED.
RUSHES INTO A LAKE. NEW YORK, July 24. A train jumped the rails near Spokane, Washington State, and rushed down an enbankment, a distance of GO feet, into Diamond Lake. The cars were submerged in fifty feet of water, and eleven passengers were drowned.
