Mr Tho3. White, of Stirling Mooi'3, Morrinsville, returned on Saturday by the express after a prolouged visit to the South.

Messrs H. J. Clifford and Spencer Marshall left Morrinsville yesterday, for the purpose of joining a shooting expedition to the Rangiriri Lake district.

Mr C. Manual, managing director of the Sylvia GoldminingCo., of Morrinsville, is at present on a visit of inspection to the Company's mine at the Thames.

Yesterday Mr Seddon entered upon the fourteenth year of his office as Premier. Mr Seddon was 47 years of age when he assumed the Premiership on May 1, 1893.
