CZERNY.

The Hamilton Town Hall was comfortably filled last evening, when Czerny, "a mag cian most profound in his art." gave one of his inte-estiug entertainments. Czerny had the eyes of the audieuce fastened on him from the start to the finish of his perform ince, only, we are afraid, to have them more puzzled at the end of the evening thin they were at the start. The picturesque conception, " The Birth of Springtim •," called forth loud applause from the uudienoe, as did " I'he Levitatiou of Princess Aatri," and "Mimosa: A Story of Japan," which latter included a pretty Japanese dance by Misses Topping and Lynott. Czerny's programme also incluled tricks with cards, d'ce, handkerchiefs, rings, birds, etc., the whole forming a marvellous and mysterious entertainment. Some amusing pictures were also shown on the tahleauscop', while Miss M. Topping sang, " The Shade of the Old Apple Tree," and was loudly encored. The large audieuce left well satisfied with the evening's entertainment.
