WEDDING BELLS.

GREENSLADE—STEEL

A very pietty wedding eventuated at St. John's Church, Te Awamutu, Yesterday. The church was tastefully decorated by the many friends of the bride, and the Rev. Clarke officiated. The contracting parties wore Mr Walter Greenslale, of Auckland, and Miss " Madge " Steel, of Te Awamutu. The bride entered the church on the arm of Mr Geo. Ahier, her uucle, who subsequently gave her away, and looked dainty and stylish in a gown of checked apple green cloth, inlaid with cream silk and embroidered with gold. A full front of g >iffered chiffon and Trccadero hat of cream Chiffon and silk complete 1 a most chic toilette. She carried a lovely shcwar bouquet, the gift of the biidegrocm and wa? attended by Miss Nina Ahier, who was costumed in a pretty dress of fuchsia pink muslin, profu-ely trimmed with Valenciennes lace. Her hat was cream, heavily trimmed with roses. She wore a gold necklet and pendant, the gift of the bridegroom. The bridegroom was supported by Mr J. Goosman, of the Thames. The service was fully choral, as the bride had been a member of the choir for some years, and the happy couple left the church to the strains uf the Wedding March, efficiently played by Mrß J. North, and deluged by showers of rice and flowers. The presents of the bride, which were numerous and costly, testified to the popularity of the young couple.
