MR BRYCE'S DILEMMA

Mr Bryce, Chief Secretary for Ireland, speaking at Dublin, said he did not think it would be possible to make the provision of work for the unemployed an Imperial charge by taxiu* workers who were possibly on the edge of poverty, for the benefit of others perhaps not equally industrious.
The Central Workers' Unemployed Committee is organising a demonstration in Hyde Park on February 12th, to urge the voting of Imperial expenditure to enable local bodies to employ the unemployed. *
