CZERNY.

The notable magician, illusionist and professional dealer in magic generally, Czerny, will make his appearance for the first time in this city at the Town Hall on Tuesday evening next, under the management of Mr William Anderson. Czerny is said to bring a budget of necromatic marvels that would in the middle ages have r assured for him a short shrift at the stake. Included in the entertainment will be the latest development of the bioscope—the tableauscope. 'I he films are reported to be one and all of great human interest, and quite up-to-date. The Wellington Evening Post, speaking of Czjrny, said " Czerny is billed as Prince of Prestidigitateurs. The title is imposing, but the artist is of a calibre in keeping with his professions. He quickly won the approval of his large audience, and when the curtain was finally rung down, at a quarter to eleven o'clock, he had thoroughly won the wonder and admiration of them all. Undoubtedly Czerny is on the highest plane of legerdemain. All his tricks are marked by a cleanness of manipulation, a ne plus ultra of dexterity, fcg* that betokens the true artist, and bespeaks Eft# the rapt attention of the most critical.
