NORTH SEA INQUIRY.
THE ALDEBARAN. PARIS, January 31. The captain of the Swedish ship Aldebarau testified before the Paris Commission that the Russians first attacked the Aldebaran under their searchlight. The Russian representative here protested against hearing evidence which was not connected with the trawlers. The British agent (Mr O'Beirne) emphasised the view that the warship Kamschatka, imagining that a torpedo-boat had attacked her first, fired upon the Aldebaran. Admiral Roshdestvensky became alarmed, and the outrages on the trawlers followed.
