KING COUNTRY LAND.
CUT UP FOR SETTLEMENT. (By Telegraph.—l'ress Association.) WELLINGTON, Last Nigbt. The Premier has been advised of the partition of Rangitoto, a King Country block beyond Otorohanga, comprising 108,000 acres into upwards of GO sections. Mahuta and his brother are interested in the block. The bulk of the land will be offered for lease, and details connected therewith will be performed by the Native Council. The land is stated to be well adapted for settlement.
