HAMILTON GOLF CLUB.
The annual meeting of the Hamilton Golf Club was held last evening in Mr MacDiarmid's office, there being a fair attendance, the president (Mr E. de C. Drury) in. the chair.
In the course of his report the secretary (Mr C. L. MacDiaruiid) referred to the matches played during last season. The ladies' handicap was won by Mis 3 Farrer and the men's handicap was undecided, Dr Douglas and Mr Rosa having still to play off. Dr Douglas reported that he had interviewed Mr Thomas Walter, who had kindly offered the Club the use of part of his property for links. A resolution was passed warmly thanking Mr Walter and accepting the proffered kindness. Mr and Mrs Walter were made life members of the Club. Mr E. de. C. Drury was unanimously re-elected president; Dr Douglas and Mr. Hurd - Wood, were re-elected vicepresidents, and Mr C. L. MacDiaruiid, secretary and treasurer.
The following committee was appointed: —Mrs Sare, Mrs Douglas, Miss Sandes, and Messrs Matthew and Birkmyer, and the officers.
