BOOKMAKER FINED.
LONDON, November 18. Although the Gaming Act was pleaded, in the City of London Court, Albert Jacbson, a bookmaker, carrying on business at the Hague,' was ordered to refund £52, the balance of deposit made to cover bets, on the ground that plaintiff was entitled to the money not exhausted in the transactions.
