(By Telegraph—Press Association.) REEFTON, This Day. Two old ago pensioners at Lyttelton had their pensions withdrawn on the ground that they were wasting the money in drink. Mr Hawkins, S.M. said he was determined to purge the list of such people. Another at Reefton had renewal refused for 12 months, because he did not disclose the full value of his property. The defendant pleaded that he was advised by a solicitor that it was unnecessary, as lie had certain debts.
