FOUNDING A SETTLEMENT.
PORT DARWIN THE LOCALITY LONDON, Nov. 27. The Eastern Cattle Storage and Land Company, with a capital of ■£4->O,OOO, is forming in London with the object of delveloping 22,000 square miles on the Port Darwin side of the Gulf of Carpentaria Littorel. It is intended to export beef, and also proposed to settle a colony of Italian sugar growers.
