HAWERA MARKETS. The Egmont Formers' Union (Limited) re xirt under date :- , Hawbba, November 15th, 1894.-Our Stratford sale was held on Thursday, the Bth inst. (the right day falling on a public holiday). Theyards were moderately tilled with stuck, the attendance was pood, and bidding fairly brisk, so that nearly everything, changed hands before leaving the yards. We quote: Two to two and a-half-year-old steers, £3 7s Gd to £3lss; yearling steers, £1 15* to £2los; yearling heifers, £ll2s Gd to £2 ss; daiiy cows (springers), £lss to £G; store cows, £2lft (id to v £3 7s fill; fat cows, £4 to £4 10j ; cows and calves, £4 to £4 12s fid, At the Glover Road Yards, Huwerayon Wednesday, the 14th inst., we had every pen.filled with' , stock. .Fat cattle sold very well indeed, and with the exception of one penof oxen and two pens of cows, every line was placed. Forward cattle also sold well, us . did. *airy stock, but all other kinds were dull of 'sale, still, in spite of 'this we placed the bulk of wliat were entered. Bidding for sheep was rather brisk.
