ADESPERATE PRISONER
(BY ELECTRIC TELEGRAPH-COPYRIGHT), Melbourne, November 5. A prisoner in the Sale Gaol, attacked the Warder, took his keys and escaped. The Governor of the gaol attempted to intercept him, but was knocked down, and had his skull fractured. He is now in a prscarious condition, The prisoner was afterwards recaptured.
